The Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee (CPCC), U.T, Chandigarh has taken serious cognizance of the increasing pollution levels in the airs of the city. Pollution occurs in many forms including Air, Water, Soil & Noise pollution.

The CPCC has expressed serious concern over the contamination of the overall environment as the sources of pollution don't simply have a negative impact on the natural world, but also have a measurable effect on the health of human beings also.

In this direction, the Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee has decided to engage the citizens of the city for their invaluable suggestions/ideas/opinions/practical solutions to put a check on increasing levels of all types of pollution in Chandigarh.

The CPCC hereby appeals to the city residents to participate in huge number in order to equip the CPCC with more and more innovative and practical solutions/ideas (which are implementable) to curb the problems arising out of different kind of pollution.

govt need to overcome from unauthorized parking on road, shops in front & strict driving rules. 2nd govt accountable to clean the road side dust and divider overflow gap also control and effective construction.

In place of Odd/Even formula, only those people can come on roads who file Income Tax Return. A 4/6 multi wheeler holder must be Income Tax Assesee.

Use C.N.G as fuel to vehicles and factories . Promote solar and electric energy vehicles. Legally Stopped the diesel and petrol vehicle use. Plant trees to both sides of roads, because trees captured carbon dioxide from air and distributed to oxygen.Carbon dioxide is the main causes of air pollution.

Modi ji aap se kahana chahate hai ki kolkata mahanagar me pollution kam karne ke liye sirf cycle or betarry oprated vehicle hi allow kiya jaye. Sirf city me ye rules lagukiya. Aur cycleing ke special road diya jai jisase safely hum cycleing kar sake aur cycleing har age me kiya ja sakata hai. 5-65 years tak ke log cyciling karsakte hai.

implementation of policy should be started from ground level,placing dustbins accessible to every one with ease,proper garbage disposition method laws and proper implementation for clean fuel and pollution free engines and culprit should severly punished but this requires proper execution and implementation encouraging cycle with attractive rewards afforestaton ban on cutting trees and preventing burning,promoting organic farming.Car pooling,comfortable public transportation & awaring

Dear Sir, I am thinking if we provide a certificate to indian person whoever having only one or two daughter. The certificate should be Prime minister signature.i am thinking this step brought a revolution in our Beti bachao and Beti padhao abhiyan.We will see definitely in next five to 10 years a big changes come in future and it will increase the population of daughter also. Stop Registration of New Four Wheeler and commercial vehicle for 6 month or more. Make a rule or system for pollution check system for vehicles. For all commercial vehicle pollution check is mandatory in every 3 month and for rest 4-5 months.

Manali Highway is passing through Chandigarh, need bypass. Massive afforestation along highways Dirty Diesel transports should be checked,fined or replaced

दो उपाय है पहला कि हम सजग बनें और प्रदूषण न फैलाये और दूसरा कि हम अपने आस पास के वातावरण को शुद्ध बनाएँ। हमें पेड पौधो को new generation में as a modern activity और साज सज्जा से जोडना चाहिए। पश्चिमी देशों मे आधुनिकता के साथ साथ संस्कृति, हस्तकला, परम्पराओ तथा पेड पौधो को भी आधुनिकता के साथ जोड दिया गया। अत: हमें लोगों तक इस विचार धारा का प्रचार प्रसार करना चाहिए तथा उन्हें "" उनके घर की छतों, दीवारों पर, आंगन, बरामदो में पौधो को सजावट के तौर पर लगाना चाहिए।""
