Our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, envisages a Digital India to bridge the digital divide in our country and further promote digital literacy in order to make development a comprehensive mass movement and put governance within everyone’s reach in India.

In order to work towards our PM’s vision, Ministry of HRD, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) propose the Smart India Hackathon 2017, a unique initiative to identify new and disruptive digital technology innovations for solving the challenges faced by our country. This initiative aim to institutionalize a model for harnessing the creativity and technical expertise of 3.0 + million students for direct benefit of our nation. Mr. Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of HRD is the Chief Patron of this unique initiative, while Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE & Dr. Anand Deshpande, Chairman, Founder & MD, Persistent Systems are the Chairman and Co-chairman of the organizing committee of this initiative respectively. NIC, MyGov, NASSCOM, UGC and Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini are co-organizers in this initiative. Besides this, several union ministries have agreed to be partners in this initiative.

Smart India Hackathon 2017 will be a computer programming competition which will involve all Engineering colleges with a reach to approximately 30 Lakh students from across India. We plan to challenge the students to think out-of-the-box and offer innovative ideas to build smart applications which will help address major real time problems in our country.

This Open Forum has been started so that participants can share their queries, issues and clarifications about the problem statements with Nodal Officers of respective Ministries and Departments.

Dear Modi Ji, Lets run a campaign for educating people in rural and semi urban places on digital India .As a Banker, we need to educate people on use of online services or e-wallets and other services which will make life easy for the people. Since our economy as well as governance moves towards digitalisation, there is a potential threat of a cyber warfare. To counter this, India could develop a platform of operating system as well as search engines which are out of reach of foreign MNCs, particularly when India is the source of world's best programmers and software experts. It is essential that a certain amount has to be dedicated towards this serious threat as the third world war will indeed be a cyber one.

Dear Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, I see that you and your team dream big for India but efforts were wrongly directed .Even today, many Indians do not have basic human needs and deprived of their fundamental human rights. If you and your team wish to take India forward, efforts should be focussed on rural and agriculture development. Without lifting people's life who are living in rural and regional India, you can never dream of taking India to the global stage.

Important for digitalisation...Must read... प्रणाम मोदी जी, आपकाdisitalisationका कार्यक्रम बिलकुल सही है।मगरआपcashlessऔरdisitalisationको कारगर बनाना चाहते हैतो इसकी शुरुआत तहसील और कचहरियों से करे क्योकिवहां भ्रस्टाचार अबभी चल रहा है।अगर वहांcash transactionsनहीँ होँगे तो लोगो को इसका प्रत्यक्ष आभास होगा औरवो आपकी बातको समझ जाएंगे।लेकिन वहाँ पर इक ऐसा बोर्ड भी दीवारपर लगाहो जो उन्हें आसानी से ये बताये की काम कितने दिन में होजायेगा।इससे आम लोगो की जिंदगी का आधे से ज्यादाcorruptionख़त्महो जएगा।

We can have a forum where we can inputs from the retired professors and utilise the Gita of knowledge they have. And use it for improvements and for this they should be paid.

We can have single website which provides complete workflow status of all govt documents and processes initiate by citizen i.e. passport, pan card, license, PF, ration card, Aadhar card an many more which is very important and common for every Indian citizen in this Digital India initiative? #SmartIndiaHackathon2017 #MyGov

Respected PM Sir, I am a supporter of you.All the people are asking me, what your Modiji going to do with men like Vijay Mallaiya, Lalit modi and all corrupted politicians, Government officials, and now the Bank officials who did lot of frauds. They say the sufferers are only middle and lower class people only. Kindly declare a severe punishment like 7 years of Jail for them. Put all the people who misbehaved in the process of demonetization Kindly take a Carrot and Strong Stick policy
