The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

- Dam should be made by NHPC. - Maintenance of fire & keep water available at the tanks of vehicle. - Fire ex tensor wisher should be provided at public, station. - Security of women should be provided.

6.Making governance citizen and cost effective increasingly rely on online services to bring about accountability and transparency especially using mobiles to reduce cost of services and providing services without having to go to municipal office. 7.Giving identity to the city based on its main economic activity such as local cuisine health education arts and craft culture sports goods furniture textile dairy etc.

- Should be free WI-FI. - Maintenance of electricity and water supply. - Deforestation should be avoided. - Dam should be made by NHPC. - Maintenance of fire & keep water available at the tanks of vehicle. - Fire extensor wisher should be provided at public, station. - Security of women should be provided. - Remove of Poverty. - Given jobs to unemployment labours. - Use renewable resources. - The flow of river should be control and make the banks of river.

1.Lake of fast internet network;- Due to lake of fast internet network we are unable to search anything,cant't find anything &can't upload anything on search engine. 2.Lake of shopping malls:-In smart city there must have some shopping malls so that we can find all our needy goods & products at one place,it will save our precious time.

5.Lake of railway communication:-Due to the lake of the railway communications the people are facing many problems like long distance journey, high rate of the products, unemployment etc.

4.Lake of continuous electricity:- Due to the many reasons we are not enjoying the full time electricity it leads to the many losses and damages of the business sector of the city.we want city lights on each and every streets of the city it will help the government to reduce crimes we also want traffic signals at every bypass within the city.

3.Easy payment method:-Now we are standing in a queue at ATM & at banks to withdraw money, if there is a shopping malls there will be use of EDC machines, we can purchase anything and can pay through our debit and credit card by the use of EDC machine.

Before Smart City Gov. should (1)provide E-Security through One Touch Mobile Button or Code which send alarms & location to Police & relatives. (2)Online application of all Services, Licences, Permissions, Facilities, Complaints etc. (3)Transparency & Online records of all Govt. activities & Expenditures (4)Strong laws & punishments (5)Revise Reservation Policy poverty/status wise instead of cast wise
