The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

Entry of vehicles should be banned on conjusted areas. Should make pasighat eco-friendly and efficient. planting trees along road side. Rain water harvesting system is also required. Install solar power street lights. Synchronized and solar power traffic signal are also required. Setup plants for composting recycling and waste water treatment. Water and power supply for 24x7 hrs. help lines numbers for social security and better facilities for schools.

. I would like to see Pasighat host national games in near future to be a smart city in Pasighat a following points should be ready 1 communication 2 electricity 3 medical 4 school, college university should be established more and more 1.Smart city should be job oriented for the young generation. 2.through the Smart city realize the local people,about the cultural& give value about the flora & Fauna.

Make more efficient use of physical infrastructure (road, built environment and other physical assets) through artificial intelligence and data. Learn, adopt and innovate and there by respond more effectively and promptly to change circumstance by improving the intelligence of the city.
