The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

A city equipped with basic infrastructure to give a decent quality of life a clean and sustainable environment through applications of smart solutions is said to be a smart city. Garbage should be disposed off far away from the town so to make the town clean and green.

1. Cleanness must be maintain 2. Good facilities of transportation, So that better connectivity. 3. Town planning should be in better way. 4.24hrs-supply of electricity and water is must. 5. Education improvement should be there 6. Road connectivity should be good. 7. Strictly Prohibition for letting out pet animals. 8. Tourist spot should be created. 9. Health facility should be improved.

From the trucks the compressed garbage is dumped in to the garbage dumping yard. The space occupied by the garbage is less, therefore more garbage can be dumped in lesser space

I would like to highlights area which need to be significantly looked upon to make pasighat a smart city and possible solution which can be worked upon to keep in pace visible the recognized cities of India.
