Manthan is a digital platform developed by the Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India to promote collaboration at scale between industry and the scientific research and innovation ecosystem to help meet India’s national targets and United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This platform aims to empower various stakeholders to scale up the interactions with researchers/innovators and facilitate R&D/innovation, share challenges focused on emerging technologies, other scientific interventions, as well as those with a social impact.

Office of Principal Scientific Adviser is pleased to launch a competition to pick the minds of all Indians on “Role of Manthan in empowering women entrepreneurs and startups to scale up innovation for a larger social impact”.
The objective of this competition is to capture intriguing insights about how Manthan is making a difference in Scientific research and innovation ecosystem.

This competition is open to all Indian nationals registered with MyGov, age no bar.
Word Limit for the Idea:
• The idea should be within the 500* word limit.
• The idea should not exceed the word limit. This would lead to disqualification.

Last date for submission of the entries will be 30th April 2023.

Role of Manthan is empowering Women Entrepreneurs and Startups to scale up innovation for a larger social impact and has proved it is in the right direction moving speedily with quality and benefits of Society as a large as it interacts with researchers/innovators and facilitate R&D /innovation, share challenges focused on emerging technologies, other scientific interventions as well as those with a social impact. Women Entrepreneurs and Startups are growing on the firm foundation of Manthan, it helps them to lift up and success is all theirs. Manthan acts as key to open the door towards the success and they have to go on the road confidently and the success and goal is theirs.

Definitely a great initiative by our Govt to promote innovation. Only concern is familiarity of Manthan among our women. There are great thinkers in the rural India but How they will share their experiences. This initiative should passed thru school children to their families.

Sir,Women empowerment on this earth has very little meaning if a woman is not isolated from family and society.The schemes for empowerment of women enterpreunership have shrinked and become means to avail of benefits starting enterpeunes in the name of a female family member who in fact is actually contributes on her own. The concept of 'woman empowerment' remains ambiguous. So the concept may be changed as 'empowerment of family' which is factual and keeps family integrity in tact.
