The role of new and renewable energy has been increasing significantly in recent times with the growing concern for the country's energy security. To achieve energy self-sufficiency, it is necessary to deploy new and renewable energy for supplementing the energy requirements of our country. So, we ask you to suggest ways for encouraging the use of renewable energy on this open discussion forum.

The most important way which is the need of the hour is that to save the sources of energy like fossil fuels which are constantly decreasing by day by day. Mostly children should be encouraged to encourage their parents to save the fossil fuels. The other way is to make aware the people about the advantages of using the renewable sources of energy by their children ,by the NGO and of course by our Prime Minister.

I am pleased to see the efforts made by government in promotion of Renewable Energy and Efficient Energy Usage (like DELP). Government is looking forward setting up large solar energy plants in country. I would like to suggest government pay some attention to setting up solar micro grid networks in rural and remote areas. Such network would help villages to be self-reliant in terms of energy and would be efficient in remote area where connection to grid is costly.

In each school, erect solar project, give awareness to students. Also provide / installed solar cells free of cost to students house & give extra marks to students. Also installed it at Govt. employs quarter & provide one ITI student for maintenance , the salary of ITI students should given by concern deptt. Municipal Corp. erect it in open space & give facility of flour mill there.

LORD SON FAVORS INDIA & RISES MORE THAN 300 DAYS IN A YEAR. IT IS GIFT, WHICH EARLIER GOVT WERE NOT ABLE TO UTILIZE. ALL THE RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE, GOVT HOSPITALS, SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, OFFICES ETC AND RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS CAN BECOME SELF RELIANT AND CAN GENERATE THEIR OWN ELECTRICITY IF THEY USE SOLAR ENERGY AND MOREOVER R&D MUST ALSO BE CARRIED USING SOLAR ENERGY FOR FUELING OUR AUTOMOBILES. IT IS MY BELIEVE THAT USE OF SOLAR ENERGY WILL DEFINITELY SAVE LOT OF CARBON DI-OXIDE EMISSIONS.

While we have announced the largest Solar RoofTop initiative, the Central Govt is giving Subsidy to the Local Govt. Whereas all we have to do is allow some Social Entrepreneur to source Cheap Solar Panels and Tesla or other Batteries and install in all Small and large homes in a selected Village or City and get the Money through PPA with NTPC. That way one layer of bureaucracy is out and the Overseas Investor would be more than happy to Invest via local company for Panels and batteries.

Solar energy should first be implemented in govt departments and offices. This will enable general availability of equipment and repair in the market. Complemented with some promotions government can push the penetration into general public. When this sector will get established, it can grow own its own. #RenewableEnergy, #EnergyConservation

The Central and State Governments should allow a mix of small Solar / Wind power plants upto 5MW run by Social Entrepreneurs with PPA signed by NTPC. For example I suggested a cluster of 10-20 Villages getting 5MW Solar Plant and Social Infrastrucure such as WTP complete with Aadhar Based Water ATMs and WWTP w/Biogas plus use of waste as Fertiliser and Recycled water for Local farms.

Respected PM, for renewable energy growth following measures may be effective: 1. Survey & Research regarding relation of topography with energy type. E.g., Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh both are remote loacation. But rain is almost absent in Ladakh with sunny days throughout year. Solar power may be highly successful there. Just opposite is the case for Arunachal where mini-hydel projects may be best option. 2.More research needed to create solar and bio-gas powered vehicles even aeroplanes.
