Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. All round schemes are announced by I dianGovernment,i feel nothingh has been announced for Farmers & Agriculture Sector.Agriculture should be given priority why not India be leader in agriculture production.Agriculture Ministry must be first priority .

Government should bring successful NRI back to home with interesting tasks and development works of their home towns. And also ask the researchers to come back and help government on make in India policy and to invest their time towards their homeland. Such that no more Indian citizen needed to go anywhere else for anything, we have quality and clarity both but we still unable to make things work, we just need experienced people, like DRDO and ISRO having.

On arrival a single window for all arrangements of personal comfort. Next meeting with high official to understand their need. Next is assigning an officer to guide thru all departments who will have to furnish up dated information, systems and procedures. Make them feel VIP- they have come to India as a soldier who represented India and has won a personal war in hostile situations. He is equal to war hero. He needs special honorable treatment.

I am not here writing for NRI because I am still concerned about our people who make fraud with us specially travel agent and I have recently got scammed through hyderabad based fake company called reliefholidays.com.. i need investigation here to make country safe for traveling. If we citizens of India got cheated then I have doubt how we gonna make it safe for NRI. Hon'ble PM Please check in all these kind fraudulent companies

Sir, There is many government rest houses in india in every city as well as touriest place. But as per my knowledge this is only for authorised persons only hence many time this gusethouses are vacant but not given to general public. my suggesation is If you want to developing and attracting tourist please use this resthouses/ guesthouse develop facilities i.e. accomodation, quility food,

1.Make a law mandatory for any NRI to contribute to own country in any area they are involved abroad.A rule to involve or invest in any social activity like Anti-Child labour or Education,etc.. 2.Set up a plan to give subsidy to investors who want to invest here . 3. Give green card status to organization or persons abroad if they contribute . 4. Make a plan to which will enable NRIs to invest in premium sectors like Medical Tourism which has good R.O.I and insure their business.

Bhiaji, LAW WITH ORDER BUILTS TRUST BETWEEN US. LAW- Currently impractical. Change Urgently. ORDER- Fast, fully equipped, professional judges, system required. NRIs want to invest in SHARES & PROPERTIES etc. SHARES- Manipulation of profits, Insecurity on Delisting etc. requires hard clear laws like REAUDITING by... PROPERTIES- Big difference in Say & Do by Realtors. LAND & BUILDING FRAUD MAFIA WIDE NEXUS. Needs new laws to finish this dirtyness. THIS WILL TAKE TIME DEPENDS UPON YOU. THUS, CURRENTLY, INDIAN GOVT. SHOULD LAUNCH NRI DEPOSIT SCHEME WHICH GIVES THEM MIN. RETURN GUARANTEE, EXTRA RETURN IF EARNS & TAX HOLIDAYS ETC. JAI HIND.

When they enter the country, the customs, immigration should welcome them with less formalities. Airport taxis and Hotels near airport should be neat and should charge value for money. The banks have cumbersome procedures to open accounts. They must be permitted to bank accounts with their PIO cards and passports. PAN Nos for NRIs should be issued immediately online through the bankers from a dedicated service provider.
