1. Firstly, we have to make our country clean & green. 2. We should start making as many cities as possible "Smart Cities" 3. We should try to increase our own productivity in sectors like IT / Healthcare / Manufacturing industries. 4. We should concentrate on making good hospitality & max facilities including security for the foreign travelers. 5. We should think of something with which our senior citizens should return to India & establish their own businesses here and create some jobs etc.

The Forum mygov.in should start a system of feedback for letting the persons who contribute to it, know whether their ideas have been whetted and if they have been found useful. For each group statistics should be provided for no. of new contributions received each week, whether they were read or not, and the number of suggestions found useful. Without such a mechanism, people will gradually loose interest and stop contributing.....

Security & Health. These are the two most important factors for NRIs. If government can provide them a secured location to live and assure them with free and best health care to their family members when they retire and settle back in India and linking it with any investment proposal will definitely encourage NRIs to contribute their savings towards it. Apart from this govt should also set up special educational institutes with best faculty for NRI children even at higher fee structure.

NRI SKYPE TEACHING PROGRAMME: I would like to conduct workshops in positive thinking, communicating skills and citizenship in schools and colleges through Skype. There are other NRIs who can devote a few hours a week to teach Indian students various skills. So please create a database of schools who are willing to use our expertise.

First of all we should improve foreign investment policy in India specially for NRI in terms of taxation and special schemes.
Also we need to promote tourism as well to get more foreign currency in our country.

Improving higher education: We face a crunch in world class faculty in higher education in India. Pessimistically, there are atleast 5 Indian profs in every US univ. These profs do not contribute back to Indian education system because of fear of losing their research groups, tenure-tracks, luxuries etc. To tap the expertise of these researchers we should make use of video conf. tools. Let the period when these profs do not have to offer courses be tracked, so that they can mentor Indian univs.

To make more foreign investment I think we should make some dialogue between college students and NRIs. This will give them confidence about the future in which they are going to invest. Along with that we have to put some efforts to make existing smaller industries to adopt best global practices like 5S, lean manufacturing, etc. But as a first impression I think cleanliness and hygiene is main concern for us which should be targeted first and I believe that some punishment has to be there.
