Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

माय गोव ( मेरी सरकार ) के ग्रुप्स की संख्या बढती ही जा रही है तो यह जरूरी है की इनमें बिना सदस्य बने भी अपनी प्रतिक्रिया देने की छूट मिले तथा ओपने फौरम में सभी को अपनी और से डिस्कशन शुरू करने की भी छुट मिले. इसके अलावा माय गोव ( मेरी सरकार ) में एक ओपिनियन पोल का पेज भी शुरू करने के लिए मैं सुजह्व देना चाहता हूँ ! धन्यवाद.

NRI can immensely contribute through. 1. Share Good Practices followed abroad.\ 2. Share story 3. Share Photos 4. Share In what way it can implement 5. Don't think that , how it possible in India. 6. When Visit India, Share these with Schools, Colleges,Govt 7. Share knowledge with all

Most of the Pravasi Bharatiyas are moved out to enjoy good quality of life. To arrest this type of migration or bring them back in India, we require implementing uniform law & order for all citizens. We feel like a second class citizen when we find extra privilege is offered to the politicians / judges / IAS, IPS officers etc. Others, who left the country because of quality education, research facilities etc.. Govt. should give priorities to these individuals to bring back to India.

For Pravasi Bharati all the GOI work be taken up as web-based activity including issuing visa and tracking them when they are in India.....no personal visit be required to any office any time.

In fact typical solution for a known problem like sanitation in streets, habitation, public places etc.launched recently has also some issues and challenges to succeed.For example, there are participation and willingness with effort too, but there are bottlenecks like waste management, discipline enforcement, regulation etc., that may attract participation and investment in terms of best practices that are world-wide being done and financial support to partner in India Development and progress.

Dear sir We should be partnering with global companies for clean energy Park. Every state invest like our Gujarat on solar and wind based energy generation with a target of 3 years.

Good initiative. As a part of MLAs and MPs adopting Villages let a group of NRIs adopt remote villages and create infrastructure and develop local industries.

India should also focus on gaining Customers/buyers than investors alone. Pravasis from all the countries must be treated equally. They crave for 'Indian traditional things', this must be used. Show them Indian crafts, make it available to them, so that they might take/buy some & leave with a token of remembrance. Brand India must be developed now. Rich Indian culture must find its market in foreign now. Pravasis can help in this in the most efficient way. Brand India, authentic Indian.

Remove the obstetricals from the rules which are detachable to attract for the pravasi bharatiya to invest for India. following points must be focus 1.help without corruption 2.easy requirements 3.they must get every thing through single window 4.attractive projects to attract them for maximum investment 5 feel free to live and invest in india 6.easy taxation a spl. team must be establish to see all the points for maximum output from NRI

Find out what motivated them to invest outside & give them those facilities here. Find out what were the push factors in India & remove those factors here.
