Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

To be honest, NRI feels more for their country .They tend to follow more traditions and culture once they are out of the country. They are the best example to quote the new generation. As our children feel the other way round. Our childrem are more spoilt and do wrong whereas outside they are more practical . Only change is the language and way of speaking. Its demand to merge in the country they live in. They can sponser people to give them jobs. Tap the young generation to place them well.

I feel we should have one more group listed in the list " Education". I don't think without proper education mankind can survive and evolve. Definitely there could be good amount of debate to uplift, change, modernize or eucation system. Hope i could see this group very soon.

our main problem is our population . we should put constrait on our birth rate or govt. should banned after two children for each religion or each cast.

My suggestion for the 2015 PBD 1. Engage NRIs a partner through skill harness process. 2. Hold small discussion forums at the PBDs where NRIs can make and discuss suggestions with officers in a forum or individually. 3. Compile all suggestions in a document. 4. Initiate wider consultation process and formulate implementation process thereafter. 5. Engage NRI world organisations like GOPIO for skill harness. 6. Engage NRIs in formulation & delivering implementable suggestions. FEEDBACK requested

When our short listed NRI's are here to attend the functions. They should already be aware of the expectation of the govt is having from them.Like agenda points to be shared with them at the time of sending them the invite. They should do their home work and be ready with the proposals durimg the get together. Points and business plans to be discussed in the gatherimg through presentation form and open question and queries and suggestions should to allowed to discuss.It should be telecasted 2.

I believe when you travel to other country you learn so many things, you see the difference at some point you start thinking how important is your own motherland. One can use the same experience back home and can create benefit for natives. No need of stopping them. We can try to get their active participation in every field. We are living in techno savvy age let us unite and work together for our motherland.

Pyare pradhanmantri ji , mera aisa manna hai ki binnivasi bhartiya aarthik uparjan hetu desh chhod ke gaye hai .apni mehnat se paisa kamaye bhi hai . jo hindustan me nahi tha vo videsho me tha .jis se unho ne paise banaya hai . ab agar vahi sari uplabdhi ke liye hindustan me unhe bulaya gaya to ,hamare pas videsho se bahut kam hai. Agar hindustan ke paas jo hai usi ko vishv me market kiya jaye aur uske liye nivesh ki baat kare to "gaon me bharat -samruddh bharat"ban sakega .jani7393@gmail.com

+91-1123012312 this is the number for Prime minister office to contact regarding any complaint and suggestion but it is either busy or not responding. Is that the thing Govt is trying to help people who are in abroad or with in a country. Modi ji started making Babu's of offices active but I dont think its working anymore. The MHRD, CSIR and UGC takes years to grant fellowship or fund for running projects. In this case what should the researcher will do for their expenses????
