In tamil we say " unave Marunthu" - thirumular in thirumanthiram. The food shoukd be in a way it should be healthy , no junk food. Reducing dseases, increasing immunity etc

Millets are good source of protein, less sugar etc For diabetic people it is good. Each fruits has its own benefits. Balanced diet is good overall.

We have to know our body, type accordingly we can practice food habits. I will say mire physical work needs carbohydrates more , whereas more brain work needs less carbohydrates etc.

Good food habits is important for good health. I read sonewhere, who is your friend?, always. Your body only will be with us always. That is your friend. Organic green veggies, fruits, millets, carbohydrates foods, dry fruits, other grocery items are available for us or God given to us.

practicing listening to/understanding our body's hints/messages..being consciously aware of the hints our body is trying to give us but which we miss, will help us stay fit...our body has inbuilt survival instincts like a pregnant woman can experience her heightened need for sodium, we have to uncover even our subtle hints of our body. if u are suddenly craving from deep within for green veggies you can assume in all probability that it might be vit B12 deficiency. other physiological hints too.
