If NRI's sell everything they have in foreign countries and return to India where there is plenty of labor and resources to start factories, then we will have the highest amount of foreign reserve. But the tax policy like sale tax, income tax, excise tax and above all the babudom and police are a big hindrance. I suggest scraping all taxes & introducing just 1 tax of 1% or 2%?on all bank transactions. 1/2 for state & 1/2 for Centre. No departments means no corruption. Corporates could pay double

1st I propose ground work/runway making, Make a e-business web site where NRI can go and register their new businesses, open an international bank accounts in foreign currency. These two factors are blocking 80% of foreign investments. Gov. should 1st help NRI's to bring their investments in India before Alien corporation takes over.Pl Make e-trade center, all banks, CA, bookkeepers, lawyers, research co. listed on that site. 1 stop shop for NRI Businesses

For a better end use of our Foreign Exchange Reserves, Govt should encourage Indian big business house to establish themselves in smaller developing countries so that they may send back profits in foreign currencies which will balance the equation of foreign currency remitted in profits by foreign companies in India.

I think the startup culture in India is already very active. There is a need to streamline the laws and regulations which prevent the NRI's from investing in these start ups. These might indicate FEMA and FERA and also might also include several rules stipulated by the RBI

There should be a Business Promotion Council in Each Embassy of INDIA that can bring together the exporters and local business community in that country.
