We have tried promoting tribal culture and art-craft for close to 70 years now. They remain equally impoverished. It's time that we increase efforts of mainstreaming them. Traditional livelihoods can be supported, but unless you focus on modern skill training, education and jobs, nothing can improve their condition and bring them at par with the rest of the country. We have to go for intensive education, nutrition, jobs and social security programs in tribal areas to effect measurable change.

Tribal People can be provided training for skills like sewing, soft toy making, Pickles making, printing techniques, etc. Government should make it compulsory for the employees of Government sector as well as private sectors to impart training for skill development in tribal and rural India for at least 15 days in year. School and College Professors should also participate in this activities.

The basis of good leadership is character, dedication, devotion, determination and determination to the NATION and spirit of service. In the eyes of followers, leadership should be reflected in every action that contributes to the well-being of the people and country and at the same time should serve the objectives of the people and country.Respected leaders concentrate on WHAT THEY ARE,WHAT THEY KNOW and WHAT THEY DO.
