Lack of livelihood opportunities for tribal people is one of the chief causes of their backward status as compared with the other social groups. This issue is aggravated by the high rate of displacements faced by tribal people due to various industrial projects etc., which also causes loss of livelihood for them among other things. This Ministry has been taking various steps for facilitating sustainable livelihood for tribal populations in different sectors. Stress has been given on vocational education and formal technical education for tribal youth. States are being encouraged to take upskill development initiatives for tribal youth with at least 50% of such activities to be oriented for women.

Through MyGov, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs seeks suggestions/information from all sections of the society regarding various livelihood possibilities for tribal people, availability of skilled/unskilled manpower still unemployed, various traditional skills available with the tribal population, new trends and interests among tribal youth, corresponding skilling needs and possibilities etc.

We have a large diversity of tribals in India.thanks to the urbanisation, industrialization which our government promotes more.the tribals are suffering for it.for an example in Odisha the tribal residents of niyamgiri in the district of kalahandi totally denied to allow the mining.so if govt keeps their livelihood and their rituals alive.then there will be no problem to access the industrial revolution in every part of the country.

we have to pave the path of development unitedly with a national spirit.opposition leaders should not only oppose every thing for sake of opposition. The role of opposition leaders is very crucial to judge what is right and wrong. They should examine which is good for the country.

Livelihood opportunities for tribals should be created urgently. Traditional tribal handicrafts such as bamboo-artefacts are a good job opportunity. Agro-based industries should be promoted. Making paper from bamboo and banana trees, horticulture, pissiculture is also recommended. Govt. handicraft emporiums and malls should help market tribal artefacts. Tribals also have painting styles such as Warli paintings, etc. Such paintings are in high demand today.

Sir Providing caste based reservation or increasing it is not a solution at all. For past 60+ years, such reservation has been existing in India, causing much inconvenience to the general community. It also gave rise to brain drain & lack of talent in India. When one's talent doesn't get equal opportunity in India, why would (s)he live here? If that person goes abroad in search of greener pastures, can that person be blamed? If you wish to have reservation, why not have it on economic basis?

The reservation policy in Loksabha seat should be restudied. Our Raigarh (CG) is a tribal seat in Loksabha since long time while there live so many caste and they can never choose there leader, they are bound to choose only tribal people since long time. This is unjustified to other. In earlier time Raigarh was ruling by tribal king and again people are under tribal MP.So that how we are independent? In tribal area other cast leader can give more attention on tribals than tribal leader.
