Electronics Sector is a critical Sector of the Indian Economy. It is one of the pillars of “Make in India” and “Digital India” programs of the Government.
Keeping in view that the Electronics Manufacturing Sector holds a great potential in the Indian context, and there has been a gap between the achievement and the potential of this sector, NITI Aayog has prepared a Draft Strategy Paper for Make in India in Electronics.
This Strategy paper titled Make in India - Strategy for Electronic Products has been uploaded on NITI Aayog’s website and can be accessed here: http://niti.gov.in/writereaddata/files/document_publication/Electronics%...

We would appreciate valuable comments and inputs on the Strategy Paper from relevant stakeholders and public at large by 15th June 2016.

1.Develop quality roads to ensure fast & smooth movements of goods. 2.Superior Quality of education on Electrical Engineering. 3.Create a pool of efficient & creative “Electrical Engineers”. 4.Govt. provide facility to the startup ventures: (i)Setting up of SEZ for the electronics industries. (ii)Govt’s support both ‘monetarily’ and ‘guidance/consultation from the premier institutes of India. 5.Prime Minister should accompany the beginners/start-ups entrepreneur during the foreign visit.

Investing in silicon foundry for making ICs is lot of investment.Getting ics made from other countries like Malaysia,Taiwan,philiphines is cheaper.Making ic circuits for our design is more important along with software programs to make embedded hardware.At present we heavily depend on other countries.Our engineers design in large multinational companies the software program is written in India .The final product will be sold at very high rates to us.we are being programed to do Labour work only.

we need to open first technical institution in every state particularly in backward areas ,provide guaranty of employment in private and public sector to the technical personals..ive ncentives to young technical personal for opening of training centers to multiply the technical workforce .develop infrastructure facilities required for setting up electronic articles .reduce import of electronic goods from china .last but more important is the political will of states govt where different politic

Important thing is to increase the productivity of our workforce so we can compete on a sustainable basis (without taking help from trade barriers) In addition to their skilling, we must glorify our workforce as we rightly glorify our 'Jawaan and Kisaan' 2. Let us build a atmosphere wherein people take pride in buying things manufactured by our workforce (even if it is a MNC product) An advertisement campaign like 'yeh mere desh ke kaamgaron ne banaya hai, mai to yehi khareedun gaa'

Quality of education in electronics field in India has to improve and the current level of education should be checked and measure by a survey in those science and engineering colleges which are considered reputed.Then an strategy can be planned for changes in education and teaching methods so that level of education can be improved to a level of R & D.We have to improve calliber of our college professor. b

Levy heavy import/customs duty on china made goods, Provide heavy incentives to local made and setup dedicated sez's for Electronics and frame all the rules similar to IT/ITES
