Electronics Sector is a critical Sector of the Indian Economy. It is one of the pillars of “Make in India” and “Digital India” programs of the Government.
Keeping in view that the Electronics Manufacturing Sector holds a great potential in the Indian context, and there has been a gap between the achievement and the potential of this sector, NITI Aayog has prepared a Draft Strategy Paper for Make in India in Electronics.
This Strategy paper titled Make in India - Strategy for Electronic Products has been uploaded on NITI Aayog’s website and can be accessed here: http://niti.gov.in/writereaddata/files/document_publication/Electronics%...

We would appreciate valuable comments and inputs on the Strategy Paper from relevant stakeholders and public at large by 15th June 2016.

Dear Sir / Madam, Considering the volume of Chinese toys, consumables and other items, I would suggest to motivate companies to make such products in India with great quality and equal/lesser price compare to Chinese products. Mainly, MAKE IT COMPULSORY TO PRINT "MADE IN INDIA" ON SUCH PRODUCTS". Make people of India aware of such logo on products. This will help understand general Indian public about which product is Chinese and Indian. Regards, Haresh Devi Pune - 8888820233

We didn't take up for development and manufacturing because the requirements won't meet the economic scale(manufacturing cost is high and the requirements are low). The public sector and govt development organizations were created to overcome this problem so that at any cost we have to become self sufficient.. However due the thrust for profits and nonvisionaries in govt

The concept of all the election like Assembly/parliament/local body etc. arrange at a time, for which election commission has also taken good and positive interest, I want to suggest that, All types of election arrange at one time is very risky to people and also risk for democracy, the mood and immotions of people at a time may be different after some experience, hence, different level of election can be held at differant time is good,further,re-election like Delhi, can also change the time format

Subsidy is not the way in this process. As a first step we needed to build up a centralised centre for next generation electronics, and its products, when we become self reliant on present day technology, become outdated.Semiconductor era will not long after a decade. So we need to look in to future and not to east or west. As second step,we need to develop a innovators club as a second step of start-up India on e-sector.
