respected sir madam,
My name is khushrajpatel. IAM from Telangana ZPHSQUTHBULLAPUR Government school.
The Draft National Youth Policy 2025 is a good step toward empowering youth. It focuses on education, skills, health, and participation. More support for mental well-being, rural youth opportunities, and innovation platforms will make the policy stronger and more effective.🧒🧒🪷

sir, no teacher or student should leave school premises to attend Namaz in mosque during school hours. This hampers education and security

The Draft National Youth Policy 2025 is a strong step toward empowering the young population of India. The focus on education, skill development, digital literacy, health, and youth participation is timely and essential. The policy should further strengthen career-oriented training, mental-well-being support, and equal opportunities for rural youth. More platforms for innovation, sports, and community leadership will help youth become confident contributors to nation-building. Ensuring smooth implementation, transparent monitoring, and youth feedback channels will make this policy more effective and future-ready.
Thank you

7. Youth Participation in Nation-Building
More platforms should be created where youth can volunteer in social work, environmental projects, and community development. This will help them become responsible citizens.
The NYP-2025 is a strong policy, and these additions can help create a confident, skilled, and future-ready young generation for Viksit Bharat @2047.

3. Strong Career Guidance System
Most students do not receive proper guidance while choosing careers. A national platform should be created where students can access career tests, counseling, and mentorship from professionals. Schools should also conduct career awareness sessions regularly.
4. Support for Startups and Innovation
Young innovators often struggle with funding and mentorship. The government can build youth innovation hubs in every state where young people can access tools, labs, training, and small grants to build prototypes or start businesses.
5. Sports and Fitness Development
Sports infrastructure should be expanded in rural and semi-urban areas, not only in big cities. Local sports academies with trained coaches can help identify young talent and promote a healthier lifestyle.
6. Digital Awareness and Cyber Safety
As youth spend more time online, training in cyber safety, digital responsibility, and online financial security should be mandatory in schools.

I would like to share a few suggestions that can help strengthen the policy and make it more practical for real-life challenges faced by youth today.
1. Skill Training Based on Market Needs
The policy should focus more on skill training that matches industry requirements. Many students graduate without the skills required for jobs. Training in AI, cybersecurity, digital marketing, coding, robotics, and renewable energy should be available in schools, colleges, and local training centers.
2. Mental Health Support for Youth
Pressure from studies, competition, unemployment, and social expectations affects many young people. Every district should have youth counseling centers with free or low-cost mental health support. Awareness programs in schools and colleges are also needed.
