India is home to one of the youngest populations in the world, making our youth a transformative force capable of reshaping the nation’s socio-economic future. In today’s rapidly evolving global landscape marked by disruptive technological advancements, youth face unprecedented opportunities and challenges. In this context, a progressive, technology-enabled, inclusive, and future-ready National Youth Policy is imperative to enable youth to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047. A draft National Youth Policy, 2025 (NYP-2025) has been prepared which provides a holistic and future-ready framework for the development, empowerment, and engagement of youth in nation-building. In this regards Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with MyGov are inviting inputs/suggestions from Citizens on draft NYP 2025 for inclusion in the policy.

What is the message of Youth Day 2025? The 2025 National Youth Day and Youth Month will be commemorated under the theme: “Skills for the changing world, empowering youth for meaningful economic participation.” This theme, supported by the tagline “Gear Up for Greatness” seeks to promote education and skills development for the youth, linking them with economic opportunities.

What are the objectives of National Youth Day 2025? Objectives of National Youth Day:- 1. To generate awareness about the life and message of Swami Vivekananda to inspire and motivate youth into participate in nation building. 2. To involve youth in various activities and to promote spirit of service and volunteerism. All citizens of India should motive and cooperate to the young boys for good building of Nation.

What is the main objective of national youth policy? The policy focuses on five main areas:- Education, Employment & Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Health & Healthy Lifestyle and Sports. It also emphasizes the participation of youth in governance and inclusive development.
