The general public/stakeholder is hereby informed that the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) invites comments/suggestions on the amendment in “Apprentices Act,1961” with an objective to enhance the apprenticeship opportunities for youth.

Any person/stakeholder desirous of sending their comments/suggestions may do so through e-mail at anita.sriv@nic.in within thirty working days from the date of publication of the details of the invite.

The last date for submission of inputs is 10th May 2021.

NSQF Approved courses are to be taken under the scheme so that students passing from various Level of courses can take benefit of the scheme. Both the employer and candidates will be benefited out of the outcome.

establishment" includes any place where any industry is carried on [and where an establishment consists of different departments or has branches, whether situated in the same place or at different places, all such departments or branches shall be treated as part of that establishment];

"graduate or technician apprentice" means an apprentice who holds, or is undergoing training in order that he may hold a degree or diploma in engineering or non-engineering or technology or equivalent qualification granted by any institution recognised by the Government and undergoes apprenticeship training in any designated trade;]

I am introducing to my experiences of apprenticeship training. In actual, so many rules and regulations for an apprentice but perhaps it is said by the head of organisations to take work from apprentices. An apprentice is consider as all-rounder such as to work as a technician, as a labour, official filing work and more work which can be taken by your controlling officer. In the plant, Mechanical department is most busy department as respect to others. So we have not to sufficient time to prep

apprenticeship should be done on the basis min. 30% of required number of worker (contractual+company) + staff in any organization and there tenure must be of 3+6 years compulsory basis for both employee and employer and the organization adopting min. 20% among these will be granted 20÷10 of relaxation in some taxes. and selection must be done from a common state level examination under supervision of companies and labour commissioner every year
