The general public/stakeholder is hereby informed that the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) invites comments/suggestions on the amendment in “Apprentices Act,1961” with an objective to enhance the apprenticeship opportunities for youth.

Any person/stakeholder desirous of sending their comments/suggestions may do so through e-mail at anita.sriv@nic.in within thirty working days from the date of publication of the details of the invite.

The last date for submission of inputs is 10th May 2021.

While ammending the apprenticeship act , the Government should take care of specific requirements of different industries . Eg manufacturing, IT , services , pharmaceuticals, Auto , every industry has some unique characteristics as well as limlitations . So the sections of the act should be customized for each sector accordingly
