These drains/canals should be katchi and gate controlled. These should be smaller in size and more in numbers from every river. These drain/canals should lead to area where water table is deep. These drains/canals may end with other river. In flood situation its gates should be opened. This work should be done through MANREGA. Sir , Please take some initiatives to develop the city drainage system as well as road infrastructure in Sub-urban region. The condition of both of these are very bad here in Bidhannagar, Kolkata. We are living here with great difficulty. Even a 15 minute rain floods the roads. There are no sweepers. The roads remain dirty for almost all of the year. Please do something.

In real estate there are so many Malyas.People have invested in billions and not getting their dream home. There may be some honest builders.First of all builders should be banned to go foreign without prior permission from central govt.Secondly take the project which two years or more late. Ask the builder to complete with in 6 months.Progress of these project should be watched. If not completed with in six months due to unsold inventory , auction his unsold flats and department should complete.

As India facing drought and flooding in short to overcome this problem I have a Mass view, As we lots of ammunitions, explosive weapons which has time limit, such explosives & gunpowder should be used to diverted the flow of water to drought area as according to planned artificial River. The exploded area should keep as it is so that water can flow through it, so the lifting cost can be saved, secondly the water gets immersed deeply to increase water level, so it's good to apply for further.
