Respected PM sir, India can manage agricultural water resources using AI by deploying smart irrigation systems, predictive analytics, and IoT-enabled sensors that optimize water use and reduce wastage. These technologies help farmers irrigate only when and where crops need water, improving efficiency and sustainability. Smart Irrigation Systems, AI-driven irrigation platforms use soil moisture sensors, weather forecasts, and crop models to determine the exact amount of water required. This prevents over-irrigation and ensures water reaches the root zone effectively. Predictive Analytics for Water Demand, Machine learning models can forecast water requirements based on crop type, growth stage, and climate conditions. This allows farmers to plan irrigation schedules more accurately and avoid water stress. Efficiency Gains: Agriculture consumes over 80% of India’s freshwater, but AI can reduce wastage by up to half.

At present, police stations are entrusted with a wide and diverse range of responsibilities, including crime prevention, investigation of criminal offences, maintenance of law and order, handling of certain civil disputes, VIP security duties, bandobast arrangements for public events and elections, court-related processes, and extensive administrative and documentation work.
The convergence of preventive, investigative, and administrative functions at the police station level has resulted in significant operational overload on police personnel. Officers are often required to simultaneously manage proactive policing duties, reactive criminal investigations, public order responsibilities, and compliance-related administrative tasks. This leads to dilution of focus, delayed investigations, reduced effectiveness of crime prevention measures, inconsistent prioritisation, and increased occupational stress among police personnel.
