What to Expect
As the broadcast has not yet occurred, the specific topics have not been finalized. However, based on the timing and current events, the Prime Minister is likely to focus on the following:
Year-End Reflection: A look back at India’s achievements in 2025 and a roadmap for 2026.
International Recognition: PM Modi may mention his recent visit to Ethiopia (mid-December 2025),

Respected Prime Minister Sir,
I humbly request your kind attention towards the misuse of the Domestic Violence (DV) Act. While this law was originally enacted to protect genuine victims, in recent years it is being widely misused by certain individuals as a tool for harassment. Many women are misusing the Act as a means of financial and emotional exploitation, treating it like a business to extract money or settle personal scores. This not only ruins the lives of innocent men but also destroys the peace and dignity of their families, including aged parents and siblings who are falsely implicated. Such misuse dilutes the purpose of the Act and undermines the credibility of genuine victims. Therefore, I request you to kindly consider revising the DV Act with strict safeguards and penalties for false cases, so that the law truly serves justice and protects both men and women equally.

Respected Prime Minister Sir,
With folded hands, I beg to draw your attention to the pain and suffering faced by countless innocent men and their families due to the misuse of the Domestic Violence Act. What was meant to protect has sadly become a weapon in the hands of some women who treat it as a business to extort money and take revenge. Fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers are dragged into false cases, forced to run to courts, losing peace, dignity, health, and hard-earned savings. Sir, the law is meant to give justice, not destroy families. Many men are silently suffering because society assumes they are guilty the moment a complaint is filed. I humbly request you to bring necessary changes so that false complaints are punished, and innocent lives are protected. Only then will justice truly prevail, and the law will serve its noble purpose.

Respected Prime Minister, I wish to humbly submit a suggestion regarding judicial delays. At present, when a presiding judge is on leave, cases often receive long adjournments, which causes hardship to litigants and adds to the backlog. I request that such matters be automatically listed on the next immediate working day to prevent unnecessary delay. Additionally, implementing a digital auto-allocation system for leave days—where cases are re-listed promptly or temporarily reassigned for minor procedural hearings—could greatly improve efficiency. Introducing standard guidelines for adjournments nationwide and enhancing transparency through real-time cause-list updates would further strengthen the justice delivery system and reduce pendency. This small administrative reform can make a big difference for citizens seeking timely justice.
