Indian industry benefited a lot from foreign investment. Similarly, the only way to shake the system is to allow foreign universities operate in India. Our educational system mature enough to handle it.

There should be no controlling authority like UGC. Rather a guiding body is required to be established which allow system to flourish with their own pace.

If India want to competitive in higher education it needs to invest more for practicals than the theories. Privatization of education needed to make limited. free education at least up to higher secondary education is must or 50% of seats should be reserved for government quota as free education. Students should be encouraged to read, understand and write in their own words and not simply reading and writing as such it was in text book.

Education should be more practical. The present situation of Indian education is just reading and writing. That makes the students to hate the subject. Technologies should be used from school to research to educate students and scholars such as e-classroom to research software. In the present pattern of Indian education, the students cant understand the concepts clearly, they read just to get pass mark or score first mark. this is the main reason publishing plagiarized papers also.

Internationalization of higher education is a simple process we have education with low reserch and practical knowledge. we have to improve the practical knowledge and promote research.

University is universal as knowledge is for the benefit and progress of humankind. So we should allow foreign universities to come and setup - provided it is an "University" ie setup by the Act of their parliament. It should not be profit making and should abide by local laws. Its level should be atleast what our accreditation bodies have set if not better.
