Education must groom children towards Physical, Mental and Social health. Yoga, excercises, meditation and community work should be part of the education system. Education must teach human values and enable children to become better individuals, participating family members, responsible citizens, helpful community members and thoughful leaders. They must also be provided vocational training, and life skills like cooking, cleaning, organizing, teamwork, cooperation, building and creativity.

Good education is foundation of all culture, behaviour, values, virtues & progress. Its lack is the cause of mental, moral & social decline. सुशिक्षा संस्कृति, सभ्यता, शालीनता, समृधी और सदगुणों का मूल है । सुशिक्षा का आभाव ही मनुष्य के मानसिक, नैतिक और समाजिक पतन का कारण है । The purpose of education is to build responsible citizens who contribute to peace,wellness & prosperity of people in society. भारत की हर पाठशाला में योगाभ्यास आध्यात्मिक और संस्कृति शिक्षण अनिवार्य रूप से होना चाहिये।

Pl.Visit: http://letscareforeducation.blogspot.in/ This blog is the reminder to humanity that curiosity is the engine if education is the vehicle."Every child is a born artist, the problem is to remain artist as they grow up"Picasso correctly quoted.Einstein said not to judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree.We just can't stand here and watch everything these great people stood for destroyed by our schooling system. Are you with me on the journey to remind the world what true education is?

Graduation courses should incorporate mandatory specialized practical on the job training for 6-12 months for any area of interest relating to the course. For this the Universities have to tie up with corporates/businesses.

To integrate skill with education- Skill is to be given more focus at lower level. Presently there is generalization till Graduation which cannot result into specialization in Post-graduation. To reform the structure as under:a) Up to Secondary- Mixed general Subjects b) Higher secondary-Broad subjects of any one of specialized branches-Art/Commerce/science c) Graduation-Specialized selective courses of either Art or Commerce or science d)Post-Graduation-Masters of any one specialized course.

Internship must be included as a part of Technical courses, especially in Engineering as is done in case of Medical education. This will bridge the Industry-Institute gap and make graduates more employable.

1. Education must be project/activities based against classical monologues. Some of these projects should be Industrial or industry relevant. Further, project/activities to impart concepts should be designed in such a way that students learn to empathize with society. 2. The education system should start emphasizing on 'learning' along with 'teaching'. "Do-Learn" is a more effective method of improving skill development.

Skill development programme must be included in higher education system. Even though it is included in our university syllabus , we organized one day skill development programme for the students depending upon their will and recent industrial requirements. This helps students to perform well and improve self confidence. To motivate students in their area of interest will be the major challenge we will have to face in coming years.
