The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

Respected Modiji I am a citizen of India and like to utter something to you. I dont know whether the message will go to you or not. Sir it looks very good what you are trying to do. But I would like to say you a story. Two days before I went to a Govt office and when I was waiting in the corridor of the office I saw a little boy 6-7 years (about the age of my son) was hiding behind two Alimiras with a tray on his hand. When I asked him he told me "Uncle Thak Gaya Thoda Rest Karega". He is a canteen boy. I went to the Canteen and asked to the owner of the Canteen why she is using this boy as labour. She told me “Sir, inha to bhar pet khaneko milta hai. Ghar me rehne se bhuka marega. Uparse salary bhi milta hai jo uska ma bap ka kam ata hai.” Sir, we have the ability to go to mars but don’t we have the ability to feed the children of our Country. Is everything is only for a photo in media (i.e. Swacha Bharat). I am not complaining but can you please suggest me what can I do for these children as a middleclass man. As regards your Swacha Bharat Mission I am doing this from my childhood and in my life of 36 years lots of people already commented on me “Pagal hai, rasta saaf karta hai.” Lastly, I would like to request you to please give some attention to the poor most people of India. Now a days if someone fell in fever it needs minimum Rs.2000/- for treatment. There are lots of basic things which we have to be given attention and come together like education, health and most important food. “Pet me kuch hoga nahi to Amitabh Bachan aur Sachin Tendulkar jesa jharu koun marega” With regards Anupam Dey

I wanted to share some concerns about Surat .How do I do that ?One of the fastest growing cities of India . We should have a holistic approach to that , I leave in the heart of the city . During Diwali how can we allow fire works to be sold by vendors by the road side in one of the most crowded parts . The main road of the city . We are waiting for a major catastrophe to befall ?? Also is it not Diwali for the regular shop owners , they are pushed in the back ground. We are causing a severe tra

Easy and cost effective nutritional support to rural kids. Plant banana plant(TISSU CULTURED) in each house. Each plant can give 300-400 bananas and support one child with a banana every day. In just ₹ 10 we can have a yearlong support.survival rate with ownership of plant are very high.Govt machinery is not taxed with extra work.we did this programme as pilot in 7500 houses by planting 2 in each house. 85% survived.water used for bath and cleaning is ..sensible use when no drainage system exist
