Idea for Government : Buy the garbage and arrange money from Tax/Processed Items
The Government (State/Central) or local Municipal Corporation can buy the Garbage from people or vendors directly. This will provide an extra income for sweeper friends. People will also be self-encouraged to do so.
The funds can be arranged through taxes as well as from processed/recycled items.

Sir,
India's worst enemy today are goons, losers, sycophants and anti-nationals sitting in Parliament who are holding the entire country to ransom.. Their revenge politics of placing their ego before India's interests is disgusting.
The obstructionism seems to indicate to the people of India that it is impossible for people of India to survive with the anti-national blokes around..
I am feeling ashamed of the Rajya Sabha which has defeated spirit of contitution , aborted democracy.

Plastic can be banned only at wholesale and manufacturing level. If thin plastic is an banned item, then all plastic carry bags should be confiscated from wholesalers and manufacturing units should be sealed. This problem can't be solved by chasing either retailers or customers. This is half-hearted and foolish. Govt must be serious.

CHINA has LARGEST SCRAP industry. Once we put even small structure in setup for SEPARATE GARBAGE for PLASTIC, METAL, BIO-GARBAGE. I'm sure RESEARCH & REUSABLE ENERGY sector automatically get pushed. Otherwise chinese can always come to india BUY our INDUSTRIAL SCRAP

Knowledge about RECYCLING PLASTIC TECHNOLOGY.And specially what common people can help to send their PLASTIC SCRAPES to those RECYCLING INDUSTRIES. Of course we are not BEST structure and our people's innocentness can be our advantage & disadvantage so I will recommend right now we can just focus on letting people know how they can help.Rather then Banning BECAUSE BANNING doesn't work. And GOVERNMENT looks UGLY talking like that.So EVEN it's needed there is way to tell them & convince.

well we can't impose ban because It is so much penetrated in the social structure. But what we can do is try to encourage some small business owner or grocery sellers to use different type of clothing bags , paper bags.If we can make clothing bags cheaper & designer then it will be encouragement. & should not say these are desperate measures otherwise people may not like it & agree BUT at the same time MARKETING also needed.& we can make RECYCLING PLASTIC technology accessible for common people

As a student i would like to suggest this that we are seeing there are few subjects about the environment in our academics. But these are not giving any particle knowledge i would like to suggest that government should pass a rule that each and every student/employee should participate in cleaning of there city or village at least once in a week/month and these should be like regular and plantation on both sides of roads every body has the responsibility on there city/Village
