Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

Roundabouts are Lucknow signature landmarks but increasing traffic is making it difficult to maintain. Suggest (IOT Based) Wireless, connected Traffic lights should be installed everywhere where there is traffic bottlenecks, along with roundabouts. Using advance analytics software, traffic should be monitored and traffic lights should be turned off-on or monitored.

Urban slum dwellers should be provided with housing which we call EWS housing arenas and employment. All government permissions should provide at a single place or at a single window to businesses and for personal care. There should be effective mechanism for removal of garbage from streets which the stray animals litter most of the time. This is important for Smart Lucknow.

If any child is not getting education because of economical family problems, free education. It should be made available via NGO participation and aided by government bodies.

Using latest communication technologies the quality of connectivity between individuals should be enhanced. Communication between the citizens and the government should be made easy.

Pollution free atmosphere by controlling vehicles that make more pollution and make Park for the retired old people and a cycle track free from noise it is a good idea but there should be pay attention on atmosphere. We should focus on the traffic and also provide a online service to check whether a car/bike(vehicle) is valid or not by just scanning their number by traffic police.
