Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

1.Sewage treatment plant for factories and industries. 2.Garbage disposal system. 3.Rain harvesting plant to redeem water level. 4.Better sewage system so as roads are not flooded. 5.Multi specuality hospitals with more bed and recruiment of doctors. 6.Transport system to be streamlined. 7.Solar energy plants 8.Recruitment in services of police,traffic police,hygiene workers.

More number of buses should be introduced and unified travel smart card system should be incorporated for improving the transportation system in the city to make it Smart.

Housing facility for residents of slum area or lower class with facilities like schools, hospital, water, hyzyne and skill development programmes.

Government should focus on professional courses to overcome unemployment and poverty. To overcome poverty child trafficking should be reduced... as we find a lot of children begging. If any child is not getting education because of economical family problems, free education. It should be made available via NGO participation and aided by government bodies.

Smart city lucknow should be clean , proper plantation, good drainage system, hitech traffic controllers, proper first aid facilities, helpline numbers (working), ladies driver to be encouraged, challan on spitting and throwing garbage on the way,

Government should make a list of under privileged children whose parents do small jobs like daily wage labour. These children should necessarily be given basic education and etiquette training as to how to live in cities and how to contribute to the city in a positive manner. if these children are not provided all this, they may turn to crime and other anti social activities. No smart city can have children roaming around doing child labor. For their education a lot of teachers can be hired.
