Traffic should be computerised such as Delhi . There should be CCTVs & Zebra crossing.Due to Metro construction & encroachment in Lucknow there is a problem of traffic jam. There should be underground parking in every main market. Shopkeepers must follow the traffic rules because in festive season they get their customer’s vehicle parked on the road due to which public face the problem of traffic jam. In case there is no parking in any shop authority must take necessary action for this.

We see a lot of people driving rashly and without adequate safety gear. Some people drive like an art brush, where as art is best when done on a canvas and not on the roads. I see a discipline led system moves faster towards development. Hence there should be better enforcement of traffic rules. I support Art City to Smart City LUCKNOW

Traffic commotion is adding a lot of tension in the air. With the normal traffic signals not working most of the time and with traffic police taking care of VIP movements we need to have intelligent traffic signals in place.

1. Preserving culture and heritage which is the pride of Lucknow. If old Lucknow is made a NO VEHICLE ZONE, then proper care and maintenance of historical monuments will keep the city alive. Bicycles, Rickshaws and Tongas can be used for plying purpose resulting in an increase in the economic growth of the city with more tourists filtering in and the glory of ancient past be revived. 2. Making Lucknow an IT hub for better job opportunities and business prospects.

Bring in a heavy fine and penalty system for people who break laws, drive drunk or rashly, litter in the city, make their pets defecate on roads and pavements, burning trash etc. Unless people are fined heavily their tendency to do all these things won't change. Government should not be worried about public backlash as most of the people will support such punishment themselves. CCTVs and sanitation inspectors should be used to keep an eye on people.
