There are many initiatives that lead to smarter cities. They can involve construction, building management, urban planning, revitalization, mass transportation and city administration. Renewable energies from wind, solar and thermal sources play a major role, because, among other things, public health depends on a healthy environment. Renewable energies support reduced fuel consumption and cleaner air, but cities will also have to learn to use energy more efficiently to really go green.

1) There must be separate lane for AMBULANCE and access to that lane must be restricted to other travelers at any condition. This could be a life saving.
2) While making smart city we should consider all class of people like Normal(who are able to manage with out help), Senior Citizen and Physically Challenged.
2a) There must be a healthy education system for all class of people.
2b) Commuting should be easy for all class of people.

With the essence of Lucknow developing into a Smart City I feel the first thing we should have in place is the removal of encroachment areas which block the traffic and also create condition in the air. With more organised market places people of Lucknow will face less of problems in transportation and put more time to working for a better life. I support Lucknow as a Smart City

A drastic need for public toilets is felt so care should be taken in this context as well.

As a responsible citizen I would suggest, the growth of industrialisation in Lucknow in which Government should propose schemes to attract new industries as well as encourage present industry owners to increase their capacities which would lead to more jobs and by this people will have more purchasing power to maintain a good lifestyle and hence lead to a smart city.

With increase in cars and other vehicles on the road we should look at developing new roads and convert existing narrow busy roads into one way so that we can reduce on travel time and pressures of delays in useful and constructive aspects of life for a better tomorrow for all of us.I support Lucknow as a Smart fast moving city

With the onset of the new dawn Lucknow faces a challenge of efficient public transportation system. I would prefer to have a Smart card may be one single card which can be used for all means of transportation within the city for faster and efficient system. It can be pre loaded with cash and should provide necessary discounts to frequent traveller such as we have in air travel. It will be a good idea to have unified Travel smart card. I support Lucknow smart city campaign.
