Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

Implementation of Electronic Health File record of city's residents linking with their aadhar card.Its very important coz a #SmartCity should be healthy first.Setting up of health portal to provide online health consultation, healthcare knowledge sharing etc.is must it will help childrens,senior citizen's and also promote healthy environment and may also decrease load on sarkari hospital systematically.

For smart city go for clean & green city which have low pollution or pollution. More emphasis on public transport rather than individual transport. Enhance civic sense among the Lucknowites. VIP Culture should be vanish. Quality medical, education facilities should be enhanced. Satellite areas of Lucknow should be more develop it will decrease the pressure of Lucknow. Encroachment and traffic is the biggest issues of Lucknow. Policing should be effective.

Smart policing-Security is one of the most important thing i believe there should be an app made by Lucknow police which should have feature like SOS where if a person is threatened he is immediately get in touched with the central police just at a click of the button and police to track down his location and immediate action as soon as possible.This app should also be provided separately by 1090 for womens safety and also be linked with fb and other social platform

With an integrated mean of mobile application made available to people for convince and ease of driving or rather the pleasure of driving. I would love to see Lucknow drive its way to parking itself as a front runner Smart city in our country.

Busses being the lifeline for the economical class of society, I feel the urge of having passenger information system at bus stops and Smart bus shelters which help the common public attain efficiency in travel time and find more convince in planning travel turnaround time. This way we will have people plan their travel and there will be less of rush at bus terminals. It's time Lucknow becomes a Smart City.

Encroachment should be removed strictly and those who are caught more than once for the same act should be concerned and must be punished.

School should take responsibility for school vehicles in which children are travel, drivers of school busses should be trained foe safe driving.

we should focus on the traffic and also provide a online service to check whether a car/bike(vehicle) is valid or not by just scanning their number by traffic police
