Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

For Making Lucknow a Smart City Following are an important tasks which need to be done on priority as given below - 1.Increase security systems in the city - use of CCTVs throughout the city to impose checks on offenders and make the information public / impose hefty fines on offenders without any bias. 2.Improve basic Sanitation amenities in the City as a whole - this means installation of Public convenience at all important markets / Public places by municipal administration.

Management of stray animals. Of late, stray dogs have become a menace to Lucknow, stray dogs are biting people, running behind vehicle leading to accidents.

SMART IS THE KEYWORD OF SUCCESS IF U THINK SMART YOU WILL BE SMARTER IF YOU ACT SMARTER THEN THE POSSIBILITY OF SMART WILL WE BE A SUCCESS.

Something must be seriously thought about are the condition of traffic management on the busy streets and a better drainage system for the entire city, especially old Lucknow area of Qaisarbagh and Chowk.
