Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

Would like to see public bicycle system developed along with the cycle tracks which are already up and running in most of the major areas. Let's cycle to make Lucknow better and healthier.

Old part of Lucknow like Chowk, Aminabad, Qaiserbaghetc needs modernization in the following sectors Sewerage/Drainage/Water Supply/Waste management/Roads/Electric Supply etc.

Imperatives or making Lucknow a Smart City: 1. Seamless usage of citizen id for accessing all city services - power, water, public transportation, traffic, driving licenses, etc. 2. Smart Power - using technology to reduce losses in distribution of power, more efficient collection of power bills, leading to reduction of power cost for consumers 3. multi modal transport - easy accessibility with information easily available for best route planning, etc.

Encroachments over the foot-paths leads to traffic Jam/congestion. We should help remove them and make our roads wider for traffic to be seamless and transportation/ travel/journey to be joyful.

With an integrated mean of mobile application made available to people for convince and ease of driving or rather the pleasure of driving. I would love to see Lucknow drive its way to parking itself as a front runner Smart city in our country.
