Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

To nurture the factor of sustainability, I would like to suggest having a preserved natural area to be developed separately facilitating the citizens with ample greenery around.

Create awareness in general public about these issues through sustained mass reach out programmes via NGO and by government agencies

Current scenario of electric supply through the electric pole may be changed and shifting it to the underground network. This will reduce power theft and also provide a cleaner society without the transmission lines visible.

Encroachments over the foot-paths lead to traffic Jam/congestion. We should help remove them and make our roads wider for traffic to be seamless and transportation/ travel/journey to be joyful.

Our govt can Develop park shops under flyover. We should make moving toilet and toilet at every crossing. We can develop colonies for poor people who lived in jhuggi. we should develop wifi zone in every city. CCTv monitoring should be 24*7 basis.

Advanced Public Transportation System(Tracking System Based),Immediate Login of Grievance related to any Public facility through Login facility, Public Awareness about cleanliness.Card based facility for Health Institutions etc. are needed very much in the City. Wi-Fi connectivity and Public Library at every 1 or 2 Km to make people aware. Interconnectivity of resources of Libraries of College & Universities in Lucknow

All government permissions should provided at a single place or at a single window to businesses and for personal care.There should be effective mechanism for removal of garbage from streets which the stray animals litter most of the time. This is important for Smart Lucknow
