Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

To make a clean city we should recruit some employees which would be called as NIRMAL POLICE and install ccctv camera at every special place... These cctv will capture to those who will throw the garbage in open not in dustbin.. This vedio will be evidence against those kind of people.. And recruited employees will have authority to charge the penalty from those guilty men and otherwise those guilty person will have to go in short term jail..

There should be Shelter where the stray dogs, pigs, cows and bulls who are left unattended to fend for themselves can be kept and treated and the muncipal corporations vans or staff should be given proper instructions/training to handle them.The residents of lucknow are at risk of dog bites, bull attacks and accidents due to stray animals menace.

Pollution free atmosphere by controlling vehicles who make more pollution and make Park for the retired old people and a cycle track free from noise it is a good idea but there should be pay attention on atmosphere.

Lucknow itself is a heritage place and for making it Smart city we have to focus on tourrism...by making huge Amussement PArks....with green belts...which could help in Increasing the Economy of Lucknow Smart city Too.... making of drainage system better traffic system better and computerized....can also help lucknow getting Smart city... At least smart city must use solar pannels to make itself electricity.....it should be about 65% of energy must be made from solar energy

Most important among all things is close co-ordination & collaboration within all Govt departments. The PWD/CPWD,Nagar Nigam, Jal Nigam, Nirman Nigam, LDA etc. before taking any repair/development/reconstruction work ; should inform all other concerned departments, through mail/sms/putting information on their respective web-sites. eg. If some road-digging work for pipe repair etc is to be taken by Jal Nigam, it should inform concerned departments for road maintenance & repair.

Waste of public money on construction and later again breaking of these public pathways,road,structures within a short period of time shows lack of planning & foresight and utter negligence on the part of civil administration.

Encroachments over the foot-paths lead to traffic Jam/congestion. We should help remove them and make our roads wider for traffic to be seamless and transportation/ travel/journey to be joyful.
