Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

adhulika3 months 4 weeks ago 1.traffic problem 2.crime 3.proper roads n water supply,sewage system in developing areas of Lucknow like jankipuram extension,gomtinagar exten. Etc 4.to conserve energy we should have street lights with solar cell system 5.water harvesting system should be installed

The citizens of Lucknow should take responsibility of keeping the city clean. People should obey traffic rules and violators should be punished promptly without any discrimination. The law should be one for all and people should be deterred from taking undue advantage of their position and power. Lucknow is known for it's rich tradition and mannerism, the citizens of this City of Nawabs should endeavor to keep this tradition alive. Government should endeavor to provide good civic amenities.

Make city clean and garbage free. Penalties for non completion of services by local authorities for common public. Local administration to be trained and sensitised about modern civil society norms and act accordingly.

effort should be made to augment public transport system in the city along with decongest of crowded public place such as railway station.
