Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

Traffic Rules should be strictly enforced.More traffic police should be posted at various chauraha to avoid traffic jam.Heavy vehicles like trucks ,SUVs should not be allowed to navigate on narrow lanes.Wearing of helmets should be mandatory for two wheelers.

With so many monuments especially in the Qaiserbagh area I feel the urge to develop a common recreational area for connecting all the formats in form of a museum. I support Lucknow the art city transforms to a Smart city

Try to provide a signal just before and after any overbridge which has railway crossing under it. That signal must indicate about the crossing gate open/closed. By this we can avoid all those wrong turns taken by different vehicles in a busy road to change their route via overbridge. Because these wrong turns are causing accidents and traffic jam.

We need dustbins ...big dustbins at some intervals. Even besides roads . There are still few people out there who bother to search for a dustbin to throw trash in.
