Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

To promote healthy lifestyle we should encourage the habit of cycling to work that will also helps in reducing traffic & pollution.

With Lucknow carrying the tag of a heritage city with many historical and ancient monuments which attracts tourism. Being such a big host of art people it becomes important for the city to maintain such monuments.

With so many monuments especially in the Qaiserbagh area I feel the urge to develop a common recreational area for connecting all the formats in form of a museum. I support Lucknow the art city transforms to a Smart city

No place for political rallies within city limits. All the political rallies should be held at locations on By-Pass roads so that the city does not get disturbed by it.

In parallel of the vision of smart city population control is required with restrict and secular rule in national interest otherwise this smart vision also will collapses under the pressure of large population.

Urban waste management techniques to be developed in such a way that the concerned authority is able to monitor and manage the amount of waste generated in a particular area and provide a comprehensive system to individuals to segregate and dispose off their waste without it getting accumulated in one place.

No pressure horn in vehicles. Increase in number of park for children and senior citizen. Strong punishment against citizen not following the rule and regulation.

The traffic in lucknow needs to be regulated as there are so many people not only violating the rules but also contributing to the number of road accidents hence the number of cctv cameras should be increased with a central monitoring system. encroachments on the road specially in areas of old lucknow must be removed permanently.No one should be allowed digging up roads and must be fined immediately. cleanliness on roads and other public places must be ensured
