Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

Area near schools and hospitals should be declared as a horn free zone. Proper monitoring that all the civic rules are followed by all as responsible citizens of Lucknow

Would like to see public bicycle system developed along with the cycle tracks which are already up and running in most of the major areas. Let's cycle to make Lucknow better and healthier.

More public toilets and strict fine and punishment for urinating or spitting in public places. Proper sewage treatment and proper disposal mechanism for daily household garbage. Planting more trees to make the city green and pollution free.

I support Lucknow as a Smart City with more organised market places people of Lucknow will face less of problems in transportation and put more time to working for a better life.

With the essence of Lucknow developing into a Smart City I feel the first thing we should have in place is the removal of encroachment areas which block the traffic and also create condition in the air.

To nurture the factor of sustainability, I would like to suggest having a preserved natural area to be developed separately facilitating the citizens with ample greenery around.
