Our city “LUCKNOW” ranks 3rd on the list of 23 high scoring cities selected for the “FAST TRACK” round.

To update our proposal in order to achieve the benchmark set by the MoUD and the winning cities, we APPEAL THE CITIZENS to engage and provide their suggestions in formulation of the Smart City Proposal for our city Lucknow, which is due to be submitted on April 15, 2016.

In persuasion to achieve the aforesaid, Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the consultants are in the process of upgrading the Smart City Proposal in-line with the requirements and suggestions from the citizens.

The Smart City proposal submitted to MoUD on December 15, 2015 can be accessed through the mentioned link below. Lucknow Municipal Corporation aims to engage citizens for comments and suggestions so that they can be incorporated to formulate a winning proposal.

Apart from Gomti River Front Development Program other tributary water bodies like: Kukrail nadi and sharda kanal should also be given equal privileged.

Road and Transportation Sector. Electricity Sector. Rain water harvesting. Sanitation Sector. Health Care Sector. All these need a revamp for Smart Lucknow

In a smart city, there should a lot of places where people can entertain themselves such as more malls, parks, amusement parks, gardens, exhibition centers, concert centers, sports centers, restaurants When people will become happy, their stress will go down, health will be better and overall satisfaction will be high. Also these entertainment places will create jobs which will prevent unemployed youth from turning to crime.

The Government need to work out on some intense computer literacy program to facilitate the underprivileged segment of the society.

A smart city should positively fulfill the below mentioned points, 1)Safety for women specially during night hours. 2)Ready and safe public transportation. 3)Overall cleanliness of the surroundings

Encroachments over the foot-paths leads to traffic Jam/congestion. We should help remove them and make our roads wider for traffic to be seamless and transportation/ travel/journey to be joyful.

There should be dustbins at every 400m and fine should be imposed on the people who spit here and there. Roads should be repaired and maintainence should be done regularly.
