No smart city should allow collected garbage to be burnt openly in streets by sanitation workers. Burning leaves and plastic produce carcinogens which reduce our lifespan. Bring a strict legislation to punish those who burn garbage publicly and implement it.

The citizens of Lucknow should take responsibility of keeping the city clean. People should obey traffic rules and violators should be punished promptly without any discrimination. The law should be one for all and people should be deterred from taking undue advantage of their position and power. Lucknow is known for it's rich tradition and mannerism, the citizens of this City of Nawabs should endeavor to keep this tradition alive. Government should endeavor to provide good civic amenities.

To nurture the factor of sustainability, I would like to suggest having a preserved natural area to be developed separately facilitating the citizens with ample greenery around.

Make city clean and garbage free. Penalties for non completion of services by local authorities for common public. Local administration to be trained and sensitised about modern civil society norms and act accordingly.

In a smart city, low wage laborers should be provided clothing along with their wages occasionally as they have to wear old, torn up clothes which has a bad effect on their confidence. When they will get clothes in the form of wages and will wear them, they will feel better about themselves and their confidence will increase.
