With a dramatic growth in elementary education enrolments and improvements in retention and transition rates in recent years, particularly amongst the more disadvantaged groups, there is an increasing pressure on the secondary schools to admit more students. With the enforcement of RTE Act and further improvement in retention and transition rates, demand for secondary schooling will grow rapidly in the coming years. The objective of this discussion group is to assess to what extent we have made quality education available, accessible and affordable to the target population in the age group of 14–18 years. How we can increase access to post elementary education across the country in a manner so as to ensure no child is denied the opportunity of completing his/her school education. In particular, how can we address the geographical and social disparities in secondary education?

अध्ययन-अध्यायपन का कार्य घर और पारिवार से दूर यानी आश्रम या गुरुकुल व्यवस्था में ही होना चाहिए माता-पिता सरकार को धन साधन आश्रम या गुरुकुल को अधिकाधिक उपलब्ध करना चाहिए | माता-पिता को अपने पुत्र-पुत्रियों को गुरुजन बन्धुओं के निर्देशन में ही सदा रखना चाहिये ।

। विद्यालय तभी खोलने की अनुमति दीजिये जब सभी संसाधन जुटा लिए जाएं। और जगह-जगह विद्यालय खोलने के बजाय कुछ जगह संसाधनों से लैस विद्यालय खोलिए। आस-पास के स्थानों के लिए बसें लगाईये। ऐसा गरिमामय विद्यालय बनाईये जहां आकर बच्चे और उनके माता-पिता अपने को गौरवान्वित महसूस करें। अगर आप ऐसा कर सके तो सरकारी स्कूलों की साख भी आईआईटी, आईआईएम और एम्स जैसे सरकारी संस्थानों जैसी बनाई जा सकती है। क्या नहीं ?

सरकारी शिक्षा "कामचलाऊ" मानसिकता के साथ चलाई जाती है। उसकी तमाम जरूरतों के प्रति किसी तरह की संवेदनशीलता नहीं दिखाई देती। ऐसी कोई मांग करने पर हंसी उड़ाई जाती है, शिक्षकों के वेतन और पैंशन का ताना दिया जाता है या चुप रहने का संकेत कर दिया जाता है।

सरकारी शिक्षा अगर निजी शिक्षा से पिछड़ती हुई दिखती है तो इसके पीछे मानवीय तथा भौतिक संसाधनों की घोर उपेक्षा है। एक-दो शिक्षक भेजकर और एक-दो कमरे उपलब्ध कराकर स्कूल की अवधारणा को साकार कर दिया जाता है ।

विद्या को कभी भी व्यावसायिक नहीं अपितु लक्ष्यमूलक व्यावहारिक ही होना चाहिए । यह तब ही सम्भव है जब कि ‘पिण्ड और ब्रह्माण्ड’ की यथार्थतः जानकारी के साथ ही दोनों में आपसी ताल-मेल बनाये रखने वाली होनी चाहिए!’’

at this age physical and mental they are very aggressive. they need physical exercise ,to participate in competitive exams,group discussions , give some topics of historical people,science other than book chapters and speech them in classroom,do not give pressure to children / teachers to got top ranks , for the ranking to the school.
