Make compulsory Energy Audits of electrical power generation and distribution companies, manufacturing companies and commercial buildings, (say those having over 100 kVA load to start with). Audits of Govt. companies must not be done by other Govt companies, but by private companies. The audits must be followed by compulsory actions to reduce consumption by 5 to 10% each year and/or supplementation by solar photovoltaic renewable energy

For application beside highways and streets, get electrical companies to manufacture compact transformers and switchgear with weatherproof switching enclosures. This will reduce equipment protruding into street space and sidewalks.

Immediately implement automatic ON-OFF controllers for street lighting, with daylight-sensors. Quite often lights are switched OFF too early in winter (compromising security) and too late in summer (wasting energy).

Directive to companies to phase out normal low efficiency air-conditioners and manufacture only inverter-controlled A/Cs or other type with high efficiency, so that energy is not wasted for the life of the appliance (a decade).

As PM of my nation sri Narendra Modi wants us to share our views, i seriously want to express my worries about these two strong pillars of our nation. First pillar is- Our Hard Working police force, why can't we invest heavily in our Indian Police structure and make it as reputable and technologically equipped with all assets, ensure High salaries and quality of life. 2nd pillar- our nation's work force, sir i want you to set a High minimum wage like US for every citizen to upgrade there life

We need to inculcate the Energy Saving behavior in our children from childhood, now we dependent on energy for everything , we should educate them if they are wasting one bucket of water directly how much energy they are wasting in addition to the wastage of water . Energy saving means it need not be only 'switch off the lights'.
