In order to equip them to look after their needs, it is necessary to impart skills to them. Most of them are unskilled and this makes their rehabilitation in alternative occupations very challenging.

What are the ways in which beggars/ destitutes can be skilled and gainfully employed so that they do not return to begging?

Participants may share success stories, as they may be aware of.

Last date for sending your suggestions is 18th November, 2014.

We can do it in steps. 1. Create physical areas with a nodal center. 2. Make their database through AADHAR CARDS and open their PM Jan-Dhan Bank account with their addresses as their respective NODAL CENTER. 3. Admit their children to govt schools and sponsored seats of private schools. 4. Join them in the mainstream with ongoing State and Central welfare schemes (residence, health, food) through NODAL Centers with AADHAR CARD as a proof. 5. Regular survey and feedback on the basis of UID.

BAN begging & take strict action against people running beggar rackets. Build REHABILITATION CENTRES where they can be imparted SKILLS to make a living. Govt should take up the task of MARKETING their skills or products. A more specific skill coupled with innovation could be RECYCLING. Children should be provided EDUCATION along with provision for SPORTS. Elders should be given FAMILY PLANNING education. Rehabilitated individuals should be provided with govt houses to serve as INCENTIVE

Maharashtra 140 - Assembly constituency and its governing authority Ambernath Municipal Council is a mess. The chief officer doesn't come to office, lot of corruptions and inconvenience to public. No resolvement and initiative from council members. Lack of Staff, Poor quality roads and other infrastructure. Please do something as promise for good governance.

Beggars outside railway stations should be employed as sweepers in railways propertoes ,colonies. Beggars outside religious institutions should be again employed in the same way. Underage beggars should be put at homes. Rehabilitation centres. Should be admitted to schools and hostels should be made outside gov elementary schools. You can take ideas from Ramkrishna Mission. Should employ in community services. Beggars once put in yogic rehabilitation centres should be introduced to contractors

First thing first rest follows:- 1. Identify orphaned beggar kids because they have no one to look after them. 2. Get them under safe hands of government. 3. Enrol them in Municipal Schools. 4. Reside them in Hostels. These are certain steps that must be undertaken as done in developed countries of the world. Each and every individual of India should lead a LIFE.

Rehabilitation means taking care of Beggars with responsibility. How? 1. By Corporate Social Responsibility 2. For beggars in city "MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS". 3. For beggars in villages "VILLAGE PANCHAYATS". All their bio data and details in a computerised system over national database.Give them ID-PROOFS much like social security no in US. Their location and there whereabouts under observation by the managing bodies.
