I would like to recommend the following things for a better urban life
Seperate cycle lanes so that people can start using bicycle as a means of transport.
Awareness programs about the usage of Bicycle.
Increase green cover in the cities and create more big parks.
Plant more trees in the cities.
Waste segregation mandatory at home and then collected accordingly.
Pedestrian friendly roads by creating more footpaths etc..
Expand metro to every possible location in the city

1. Free facilities for tax payers.
2. Weekly magazine for each city, namely "The Smart ____(city name)" to inspire people.
3. Increase in govt. official salary only on condition that they does their work timely, and they must promise to take no bribes.
4. Lower the job security for govt. officials(bcoz many of the are rude and misdirect common and poor people)
5. Compulsory bank acc for everyone.
6. Equal respect for everyone(be it army, engineer, doctor, street cleaners, and many others).

Digitising the public transport.
Corruption begins with small things such as bus conductor do not issuing tickets, for this I suggest to keep a ticket inspector on every stop. If we think about digitising this process then we can have a mobile app using which we can scan the QR code mentioned in the bus, enter to and from place this will calculate the amount to be paid. Then the user can pay the amount through the wallet or any mentioned payment mode.

Efforts need to be made to make the public transport system as smart as possible, by ensuring that more number of people use public transport and there are less number of cars on road. Car Pooling, Cab Sharing, staff buses are some of the measures that should be taken by the the govt and pvt offices. Peronal loans for vehicles should be discouraged. this wil solve twin problems of vehicular traffic and environment pollution.

There are few ideas listed below. All are related to Road Development.
1. No highway should pass through any city. It should only connect to cities and have exits to those respective cities.
2. There should be fines on using High beam/halogens on highways unless you are driving in hilly areas.
3. There should be proper "U" turns (Exits which will take us on other side of the road) on highways rather than leaving few open spots between dividers.
4. All highways should be atleast 6 lanes wide.
