Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

1. ALL STREET FOOD VENDORS MUST BE ASKED TO SELL FOOD THROUGH ORGANISED AND COVERED FOOD CARTS ONLY. SELLING FOOD ON OPEN FILTHY WOODEN THELAS MUST BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY. WHENEVER ANY FOREIGNER / TOURIST VISITS THE CITY THE THELAS GIVE A VILLAGE LIKE LOOK TO THE CITY. I AM A TRAVEL TROT AND WORLD ACROSS FOOD VENDING IS DONE THROUGH PROPER FOOD CARTS AND FOOD TRUCKS ONLY. IT LOOKS ORGANISED. I HAVE WRITTEN THIS TO THE CMHO AND MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND PHED ALSO. there should be some attraction for tourist in the evening after 9 pm 1. resturent and chat bazar should allow to open till late 1 am so people can hang out till late 2 chat bazar in ramniwas garden like in earlier days

As you assign specific place to each house number, they will be assured for their place and this will not produce any conflict between residents over the issue of parking.

This will solve following issues - 1. Resolve the conflict of car parking. 2. Resolve the blockage of streets and roads. 3. Vehicle safety to public.

If any problem in any ward area, like this...damage road, fuse road light, civer jam etc. Must be short out in limited period . Mostly people say that Nigam does not solve the common problem. So we will change this mentality. When problems short out in 24 hour, one week...than become our city smart city. Proper Monitoring and accountability must be condition for this.

As I am observing ,For widening of roads trees are being cut and flowering trees are being planted but these flowering trees can not control that much pollution as the urban trees . so please do plantation more and more so that Jaipur can never face an environmental problem like Delhi.At least JDA can make plantation along side road in every 15 meters distance.
