Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

If any problem in any ward area, like this...damage road, fuse road light, civer jam etc. Must be short out in limited period . Mostly people say that Nigam does not solve the common problem. So we will change this mentality. When problems short out in 24 hour, one week...than become our city smart city. Proper Monitoring and accountability must be condition for this.

As population is increasing day by day, waste material(SOlid,Liquid,electronic) will also increase. As we are starting to become a smart city, one key step is to do proper waste management. Currently we take garbage from one place and dispose it to some other vacant area, which is not good as someday it will become the center of virus/bacteria and other germs.

Laying of OFC, CCTV CAMERAS, online monitoring of all services like road,drain,sewer cleaning,garbage collection,garbage disposal,STP,Water supply,power supply, animals,traffic control,attendance of Govt . officials,E-services,24 hrs.power/water through prepaid cards only,withdrawal of all subsidies,reservation based on cast,religion,economic condition,Narega like schemes, providing free and compulsory education to all ,RWH in all localities,social security to all,E -filling of Police FIR etc

I AM A CIVIL ENGINEER AND I CAN PROVIDE A GOOD MAP FOR WORKING IF U GIVE ME A CHANCE FIRST WE SHOULD SELECT A PARTICULAR AREA, THAT SHOULD BE FROM STARTING BOUNDARY LINE OF JAIPUR. AND WE SHOULD START PROJECT

And also we can assign a single car-parking place to each house number and can charge them with fixed amount every month.

What I suggests is that - We can build a terrace on these gardens, and shift these gardens on upper floor, whereas we can use the ground floor as parking place for the locality.

Suggestion for smart city. I think for any smart city the for most priority for any smart city without local citizen participation and involvment it will never be ful filled by any Govement or any oragnization either private of public. 1.
