Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

All roads should be one way. Free parking across the city then people will never park vehicle on road. Trees and plants on every road across the city. All vacant plots compulsory to plant a tree

Joint efforts by citizens as well as the government in being self responsible to keep the city clean, utilising the resources like water and electricity in an efficient manner. And aptly using technology to conduct such strategies

It is mandatory that the city is neat and clean, which is not possible without active support of citizens. The municipal councillors should organise fortnightly meeting in their respective wards (Not just meeting of their party workers), take suggestions from citizens and should ensure that the suggestions are really implemented. Take a leaf from "Rural Biodiversity programme" of Government of India and replicate it in the city. In order to preserve our heritage
